XS Promotions are official representatives for SAX 'n' TRAX

SAX 'n' TRAX is a unique concept in Scotland, and features prominent Aberdeen bandleader GRAHAM GEDDES performing mood music playing tenor, alto, and soprano sax over beautifully produced professional backing tracks. This tasteful show is ideal for the champagne reception after a wedding ceremony, or during the dinner at weddings and corporate functions. If you're looking for something classy but different, then SAX 'n' TRAX is the show for you.

Graham has been the bandleader of the renowned Graham Geddes Band for almost 30 years, and started performing with the band when he was just 14 years of age. The function band performs a total mix of music from Scottish dances to pop covers from the past decades, all over Scotland for most of the year, and have toured worldwide including the Far East over the past 12 years. Graham started out on accordion and then progressed to vocal and piano studies before he took up the saxophone.

The SAX 'n' TRAX idea came from Graham's performances with the band where he sometimes performs classic pop tracks as instrumentals which prove very popular as an added variation of style during the bands performance, and giving Graham a chance to do a solo saxophone set.

Graham at an early age was involved in weekly television shows which were filmed at Grampian TV in Aberdeen. The weekly shows would consist of varied music styles where the performers got limited time to look over music parts before performing to an audience and on some cases going out on live television. This was a great learning curve and demanded the ability to think fast and perform at the drop of a hat, all skills which can be put to use in todays live music environments.

Recordings at the BBC and ITV were a regular occurrence and led to many big support slots including Barbara Dickson ,The Bay City Rollers, Leo Sayer, Runrig at the Albert Hall in London, to mention a few. One other memorable night was the chance for Graham to perform and arrange a function at Balmoral Castle for the Queen's 80th birthday celebrations.

This solo venture is like no other in Scotland as Graham spotted the idea in full swing in the smooth jazz scene while working in the USA. Here he watched and gained all the necessary ingredients to perform this style of music.

So sit back with a glass of wine in hand and chill out to the smooth sounds of SAX 'n' TRAX.
