Over the last twenty five years TONY LITTLER has performed as the front man in various rock bands and played support to Bryan Ferry in front of 20,000 people in 2002. Tony’s style of interacting with his audience paved the way for him to enter the world of stand up comedy.
Following an uninspired trip to the Edinburgh festival in 2004 Tony decided that he could be funnier than any of the shows he had seen and in 2005 proved himself right by writing some daft material some daft songs and winning his way to the final of the “The Laughing Horse New Act of the year competition 2005” beating off fierce opposition from all over the country in his six qualifying rounds.
In the same year Tony completed his first successful run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with his one man show, 'Fat, Furry, Funny and Free’ where he performed a gut busting 19 shows in 9 days.
In 2006 Tony performed his second Edinburgh Fringe Festival one man show ‘Stubble Trouble’ filling the venue every night of the 10 day run. Tony is currently writing and testing new material for his 2007 show.
Since 1999 Tony has had his own 3 hour weekly show in O’ Donoghue's, Irish Bar Aberdeen where he started off by playing standard cover songs. This however evolved with the gradual addition of his self-penned parody songs, comedy observations and audience participation, into a free for all where Tony often tries out new material on his unsuspecting audience,
Tony performs his own brand of hilarious and topical parody songs and in addition to performing for Stag/Hen parties and corporate functions Tony makes regular appearances on the UK comedy circuit.
Tony’s show is not for the faint hearted and he takes no prisoners so if your looking for political correctness you’ve definitely come to the wrong place, however if your looking for a good old laugh and sing song your in for a treat.
Tony’s standard show is 45 minuets long and PA and lighting can be provided if necessary. |
